About who needs care: In bed use hoyer lift to wheelchair or slide board. no toilet use, feds self. watches tv, can communicate, sometimes loud so needs mediation (indain flutes etc.) or quiet for up to an hour sometimes longer, sometimes not at all for weeks. will bang on bed rail at times or make noises, sleeps well night. messy will take off incontinence pull ups clothes bed sheets etc will keep self covered with a blanket will roll to change can not sit up by self had stoke mental illness injury to body pain a lot on meds About the care needs: show up and help is all I ask need help need to get up north 3-4 hrs away overnight to visit friends and family at times overnight NOT required but helpful will have backup help and even double over if needed 2 caregivers Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
