Seeking a caring, detail-oriented individual to assist Tony, a friendly, communicative Down Syndrome man with paraplegia, mornings starting this Sun. Mar. 23. He enjoys retro TV shows, drawing, and his DVD collection. Routine includes simple wound care in bed, then using an electric Hoyer lift for a clean, easy bowel program -digital stimulation- then xfer to wheelchair. Then, assist with dressing, preparing a light breakfast, keeping him engaged with drawing/DVDs. Flexible morning hours -approx. 10 a.m. to 3 PM- needed for next 7 to 10 days, with potential to stay on for long-term or full-time care. Experience with Hoyer lift important.
