About who needs care: 89 1/2 years old Adult onset leukemia since 2023 Congestive heart Chronic musculoskeletal pain 2 week stay in hospital in November left my dad in severely weakened condition. Medicare rehab was minimal and suboptimal, and he is now using a walker and very weak. Was not needing a walker before his hospitalization. Would like to have some in home PT to get him stronger About the care needs: Assertive, can handle Man of the House (50s) mentality My Dad can be gruff sometimes, but if rapport is established he is fine. Hes a bit depressed and now is lethargic. This man could outwork a 40-year-old just a couple of years ago before the leukemia. He was a custom home builder. This person would need to be strong enough to assist with and plan PT sessions. Hes lost significant weight, so is just about 150# on a good day. Services needed include: mobility assistance.
