About the job
Looking for a mature, reliable caregiver for our 27-year-old son with mild cognitive impairment and fine motor impairment. He can walk, but uses a wheelchair as needed. He transfers and toilets independently. Position includes food prep, light clean up, assistance with laundry, grocery shopping, errands, life-skills coaching, and companionship. He is an easy-going, sweet young man who loves music and singing, crossword puzzles, learning, games, and movies. His speech is impaired, but he loves to talk with someone who will take the time to listen. Very rewarding job! :) 18 hours per week, ideally 2:30-6:30, Mon., Wed., Thurs. and Saturdays with some flexibility. $21 per hour. Must be willing to complete minimal, mostly on-line, paid training (unless already an approved MORC CLS provider) I will explain this more! Thank you!
