About who needs care: I am seeking compassionate, experienced caregivers for my Aunt, who has ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). She requires full-time assistance due to mobility challenges, including frequent falls that she cannot recover from alone. She also needs help with household chores, meal preparation, and personal care, as she can no longer perform these tasks independently. Emotional support is equally important, as ALS can lead to feelings of isolation and depression. We are looking for a caregiving team skilled in ALS care, who can ensure her safety, comfort, and dignity while providing reliable, empathetic support throughout her daily life. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
