About who needs care: Underlying Conditions: My mom is showing early signs of dementia, but she is not fully diagnosed. Depression and ADHD. Lack of Motivation. Hobbies: She loved to garden. But has not returned to it. She likes to walk. Structure: Scheduling will be hard for my mom, but she did go to her heart rehab 3X a week. I thought we could follow the same schedule. About the care needs: Someone with a lot of patience and experience with elder care. Kind motivator that does not take no for an answer. My mom will say no right away. The first visits may just be talking and making sure she has food. Gradually, I would like to see her walk or garden. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
