About who needs care: Post hospital after surgery for bowel obstruction following cancer treatment. She needs assistance for a short period of time to help her gain strength. Prior to this event she was independent. About the care needs: She would like someone who does not smoke and who is friendly and willing to listen. She was very independent prior to this event and wants to get back to that. Showering/bathing, help to bathroom, warm meals/remind her to eat, walk with her to help gain strength. Unload dishwasher, minor upkeep or cleaning if needed. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
