About who needs care: My dad has to urinate by using a catheter. Because of his dementia, he has forgotten how to do it without being coached. A caregiver does not need to physically do it, but just coach him through the steps. He needs to go 4x a day. About the care needs: He likes someone who can take a walk with him, play games, and do light housework. A worker needs to be patient as it takes him quite a while to put his thoughts together into speech. If they are familiar with catheters or possibly changing a urine bag (in the future) that would be a plus. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
