About who needs care: My husband has dementia and does not drive, use a phone or handle a tv remote. He needs companionship and some assistance. He is good natured and easy to be with. He can read a little but mostly sits and naps He wears depends but is able to toilet himself. His general health is excellent but he does use a walker because his balance and strength have declined He is a retired Physician and really watches tv He needs lunch served around noon I need help because I am handling our home and finance and my own personal needs and I won't leave him alone. Right now we are having our basement repaired and refinished because of a burst pipe and there can be construction people coming and going. He is usually dressed and ready to go when a caregiver arrives. I need reliable help from 9:30 to 4 p.m. two days a week. About the care needs: I need a friendly outgoing person to be with my husband No special skills are needed at this time but in the future I may need someone who can help him shower Don had no real hobbies anymore; he loved to play tennis and golf but that is no longer possible He also was interested in reading and finance, both of which he can no longer do Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
