About who needs care: Recovering from stroke. History of heart attack and bypass surgery. My dad is able to eat and use the bathroom independently. He has not cooked since his stroke in June 2024. He can speak English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Khmer and Teochew. Looking for someone to stay with him to make sure he does not fall. Also hoping caregiver can do PT exercises and speech therapy exercises while I am away. About the care needs: Patient, positive, experience with elderly and possibly post-stroke patients. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
