About who needs care: My mom is in hospice though is doing quite well. She has COPD and is on oxygen when she's in bed - which is 80% of the time. She sleeps a lot - but when she's awake she loves to chat and watch a little TV. About the care needs: She is very easy-going and gets along with everyone. I think ideal personality would be someone who shares her interest in home décor, who is kind and calm. No specialized skills required - she uses a walker and is pretty independent, though needs someone standing by when she is moving around. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
