Hands-on Care Needed For Myself In Yarmouth

About who needs care: I need help with washing or bathing and putting off and on lymphedema stockings every day and putting moisturizing cream on my legs. I need help with my student loan paperwork if this is possible because I have trouble doing it. I will also need someone to help me clean up my house if that is possible. I have chronic pain that has been poorly controlled ever since the state of Maine took away 2/3 of my pain medication in 2017. I have trouble and pain getting around my house. I have a serious urinary incontinence problem, but I can change my own diaper. Unfortunately, I often start to involuntarily urinate before I get to the bathroom and can dribble urine as I walk. I am interested in a wide variety of things, politics, political activism on several topics, nature, the environment, mineral collecting, and many other topics like ancient aliens, and programs on the discovery channel. I like to learn new things. I am kind hearted and open minded. I hate bigotry and lies. I believe in brotherly and sisterly love for everyone and for many earthly life forms. I love dogs! I miss my dog Pepper who died a few years ago. She was my buddy. I am lonely and do not get out to see people. I do not have any friends anymore. My few lifelong friends are all dead or we have lost contact. This makes me sad. My only buddy is my son Stefan. I eventually want to get out with people more, but I am old, ugly, disabled and incontinent and this makes it hard to go out and socialize. My mind and heart are very good, but my body is kaput. Many people in our society avoid disabled people, and this hurts. About the care needs: Someone patient, kind hearted, and willing to learn and do new things like how to put on my lymphedema stockings, Perhaps be willing to go to the lymphedema clinic with me and have Allison, the therapist show her or him what needs to be done. I do not need an experienced care giver because I used to be a nurse and I can speak up for myself. I am patient and I do not mind teaching a new caregiver. We all have to start somewhere! Someone who likes to learn and is willing, patient, kind hearted and gentle are the only skills they need, and these skills are vital and often cannot be easily taught Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
