About who needs care: My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 2 years ago and has very little short term memory. She has no real hobbies, but I would like her to get exercise and do something besides watching TV. She just moved to Maine with her husband. About the care needs: My mom has a very pleasant bubbly personality. She has a good sense of humor, so someone who is easy to talk with and has a caring personality would be a good fit. The specialized skills would be understanding Alzheimer's and it's progression. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
