The hours are somewhat flexible; it's a 2-hour window in the morning and a 2-hour window in the evening. (you don't need to do both am & pm; we have a few caregivers in the home now, looking to add 1-2 additional caregivers to have all am and pm shifts covered as well as callout coverage) The job entails, Assisting a 78-yr old male with morning and evening Washup routine. This is a FULL HANDS-ON job. Patient is on larger size and has very limited mobility. There is a stand to lift currently in the home for transfers from reclining chair to bed-side commode. For washup routine; changing his incontinence briefs, transfer to commode, sponge bath and changing clothes. small amount of housekeeping tasks like laundry and trash. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained.
