About who needs care: Mom is 86. Diagnosed early stage Alzheimers, limited mobility with walker, needs help bathing, dressing, and meals. My 85-year-old dad is the primary caregiver right now but is having a hard time keeping up 7 days a week. Even just a few hours a day 3 x per week would allow him time to recover himself. About the care needs: Compassionate, tolerant - my parents are tough old birds who are discriminating and hard to build trust with. They take awhile to warm up to and are terrified to have strangers come into their home to help. They have a huge piece of property my dad cares for himself. My oldest brother lives and one sister live within 20 minutes but work full time and can't get there more than a couple times a week. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
