In Home Respite Care For Elderly Man

We are looking for someone to assist our father who had a stroke several years ago. Until recently his wife provided care, but she recently fell and broke her leg and is recovery at a rehabilitation center for at least 3-4 weeks. Once she returns home, we will continue to need support, but are not able to define those additional needs at this time, but we will likely need to extend this job. Morning 7:30 - feed cats, scoop kitty boxes, empty patients catheter bag 8:00 - make breakfast, help client with dressing and putting in hearing aids, feed breakfast (clients hand shakes); help with denture care, and assist in getting ready for the day 9:00 - 10:30 - light housekeeping and errands; prepare boost for lunch: empty catheter bag before leaving Afternoon: 3:00 - 7:00 empty catheter bag upon return; prepare dinner, feed cats, feed patient dinner, and assist in bedtime routine. Light housekeeping and errands as needed. Sports, lobstering and fishing, pets We are looking for a Certified Nurses Aid, and one that can pass meds would be preferred The house has parking The client has two cats. The neighbor has a lab that likes to visit the clients yard.
