Companion Care Needed For My Mother In Lincolnville

About who needs care: Mom needs help with a few chores... shoveling, laundry, light housekeeping, sorting bills and mail... her memory is better on some days than others, she repeats herself. She's best in her home and routine. My father passed last May. She loves word find puzzles and games and quilting but I am not sure she has been sewing since Dad passed. She needs a ride to get groceries and possibly to medical appointments. I am 9 hours away and my brother is 2. 5 hours away from her. About the care needs: I think she would be more comfortable with a woman. She's really funny. I don't think specialized skills are necessary or hobbies/interests. She used to love to play games but not sure she is now. We're just putting feelers out to see what is available in her area. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
