About who needs care: Tries to be independent as much as possible. Has mobility issues - walks with a cane. Hard of hearing - getting hearing aids. Recovering from shoulder replacement surgery, currently has in-home therapy and nursing visits. Enjoys eating out. Sometimes needs company to go to appointments, grocery shopping etc. About the care needs: Someone open, friendly, willing to converse. Willing to help organize and assist in house cleaning as needed. Possibly willing to help with personal maintenance, e. g. hair washing, pedicure etc. If possible, coordinate schedule with home care visits (PT, OT & nurse). Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
