About who needs care: My 92-year-old friend lives with me, but I have to be away for work 3-4 days each week. He is still completely sharp mentally, is semi-independent, and uses a walker. He can get up from a chair and do some tasks by himself. However, he needs help in the mornings getting out of bed, washing up, getting dressed, and starting his day. While he's eating his breakfast we're looking for someone who could also clean up his bedroom and do any laundry. But it's probably only 3-4 hours per morning, Sunday-Wednesday. About the care needs: Chuck is very personable and smart, but he's also not very chatty. The ideal person would be easygoing, but also someone who doesn't need to constantly make conversation. Once he has started his day, he usually goes to his desk and spends the rest of the afternoon studying genealogy and reading the news. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
