Direct Support Person Needed

Opportunity to work with a female in her late 30's, who is blind, and needs support to attain a higher level of independence at home and in the community. The best match would be someone who is dependable, punctual, has good interpersonal skills, and must be trustworthy. Nonsmoker, please. Duties: Assist individual with tasks to meet wellness, social, and recreational goals Support healthy lifestyle goals including scheduled sessions at a local gym Assists in the implementation of daily schedule and routines Teach and support with household chores, laundry, cleaning and organizational skills Transportation for errands, gym sessions, and other activities Any additional tasks as agreed upon Education, training, and past experience a plus! References are necessary. Experience working with the blind/visually impaired is a bonus!
