About who needs care: Uses a walker, fed by stomach tube, needs meds crushed and put into water into jpeg, light housecleaning, meal preps. My mom is present and able to do some things but often naps and misses schedules for meds. Needs to be assisted to get in steps/walks. About the care needs: Both parents are very good natured and love to laugh. Dad is hard of hearing and wears a cochlear implant so one needs to speak loudly and close by so he can engage with you. Experience with seniors is ideal. Patience and kindness are key. They are a lovely couple, married 65 years this month. Family is close by and will try to be here often but likely not consisently if we can find the right caregivers. This is a nice house and pleasant environment with easy-going couple. They both love to play cards so they may include you if you know how to play 3/13 or cribbage! Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
