About who needs care: my mother has parkinson dementia. Her condition is worsening and her elderly husband is having trouble keeping on top of her needs. My family and I are trying to get her into a home that can provide the care she needs. However in the mean time, we need someone who can help provide her with the things she needs. ideally she would have someone who can help with meals, bathing, dressing, companionship. Her husband is a trooper, but needs some down time as well because taking care of her is a full time job. About the care needs: patient and caring. she has hallucinations and sees people and talks a lot about her family. so a good listener as well. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
