About who needs care: Bedridden and recovering from a stroke; mild speech impairment and unable to use left arm or left leg, but still able to communicate and feed herself. Hobbies/interests include music, books, and mystery/crime television procedural dramas. Requires help with diaper changes, meal prep, washing, and dressing. Possibly also assistance with basic PT/OT exercises in bed, though this isn't required. About the care needs: Caregiver capable of transferring a 130 lbs patient would be ideal but not required. Physical/occupational/speech therapy training would be a plus. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
