About the job
About who needs care: Had a stroke (2) months ago. Doing relatively well. Has slight dementia. Caregivers going on a bus trip to New York for the day. Would be too much for her to travel that far on a bus. Just need someone to sit with her while we are away, give her meals that will already be prepared, just need to microwave, and see that she gets to bed. She is capable of doing so by herself, just plant the suggestion. Once in bed, caregiver can leave if we are not yet back. About the care needs: Nothing in particulary, just some one whom is willing to just sit with a 92yr. old female with slight dementia. She sits at a desk and does puzzles and watches tv. Just see that she gets snacks, and water. She takes care of herself. Walks on her own, goes to the bathroom on her own, feeds herself. Services needed include: companionship.
