Individual with special needs seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional to assist and mentor with activities of community integration & development of job and functional life skills. Looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, patient, committed to the goals of the program and can work independently. Must have reliable transportation. The individual participates in a program at Wheaton Park Horse Stables Monday through Friday from 10:00-3:00 p.m. The daily routine will have some flexibility but generally include the following: 9:30a - meet at home 10a - 3p - Participate with Cura Personalis Project 3p - 5p - Drive the individual home and/or to other activities such as library, going for a walk in the park, puzzles, reading, shopping, etc. Some benefits are provided (PTO, paid holidays, mileage, etc).
