We need companion care to take care of my 85 yr old husband in Silver Spring. We're looking for someone to provide companionship. You'll be responsible for transporting if you choose to go out. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. Mostly he needs someone to keep him active at times and watch TV with him at other times. He can walk but uses a wheel chair when outside the home. He, likes music, but has some major memory issues at times. He likes to take rides and enjoys lively company. He is timid with our young dog who would have to get used to you because she was abused and is defensive, but is very friendly - just an active puppy. If he gets bored his default is to go to bed which is okay at times but not good as a steady thing. He needs an upbeat, cheerful companion.
