About who needs care: Diabetic. Can administer her own insulin but needs reminder. What has been mild dementia seems to be progressing so we are working on moving patient to assisted living. About the care needs: S is very independent... has never been married and has no children so is not used to having someone under foot all the time. The ideal caregiver would be someone that does not hover and knows when to back off a bit. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
