Hands-on Care Needed For My Mother In Reisterstown

About who needs care: Mom is bed bound but pretty talketive with slight dementia. She loves to watch most of the day and is distraught about the incoming elected president. Mom is currently living in our basement and is cared for by me, my wife, two teen age girls, two cats, two small dogs, and a mouse. About the care needs: Mom loves to watch TV, talk about politics, tell her life stories, and sleep. She is polite and pleasant to talk with, 86yo, about 125 lb, and bed-bound, but can walk with assistance if motivated. She is currently on hospice care but we have been notified that she will be discharged soon because she has physically and mentally stabilized. She currently uses the Purewick system along with diapers. A good match would be someone that loves conversation, particularly regarding nursing, gardening, art, travel, and politics. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
