We are seeking a qualified part-time live-in Caregiver and Assistant for a somewhat physically-impaired senior in her 70s with some mobility issues. Seeking a caring, nurturing, authentic individual who would enjoy conversing with and getting to know my mom, someone capable of being understanding and compassionate with a senior who occasionally struggles with depression and anxiety. The ideal candidate must also like animals and would assist my mom in caring for a cat. Must be comfortable staying up till 11:30 p.m. or so watching movies. My mom's day starts at 10:30/11 a.m. & ends 12am/12:30 a.m. Job Responsibilities: companionship; cooking/meal preparation; light housekeeping & organization; laundry; groceries & errands; duties would include transporting my mom (doctor's appointments, errands etc.); pet care & play; movie nights.
