About who needs care: She has ALS. Requires a hoyer lift to transfer. She has a power wheelchair, sit-to-stander, and hospital bed. She requires g-tube enteral gravity feedings 3 times a day. For now she can eat soft foods by mouth. She watches TV most of the day. She is sharp minded but speaking is getting hard to understand. She does have a communication iPad to help. Lives in a 55+ condo. No steps. Elevator only. Neighbors pop in and out to visit daily. About the care needs: She gets along with most people. She prefers non-boisterous or super chatty people. Her hobbies are playing games on her phone and watching tv (mostly Fox). She is very in control of her surroundings. A bit stubborn. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
