About the job
About who needs care: My mother lives next door to me. I provide evening meals and do what ever she needs. She had fallen dislocated her shoulder and had care m-f 8-6 p.m. by a friend of a friend who does home care. She progressed to 9-1 m-f but the caregiver is no longer available after a lengthy illness. My mother is exhausted as she has been alone with a small dog to care for. I am looking for help asap. About the care needs: She is hard of hearing. Has hearing aids. He vision is poor. Cant to hobbies like puzzles and magazines. Anymore. She can read on kindle and does enjoy that. She likes to go grocery shopping and other shopping at times. She likes to eat out or get takeout. Watched TV loud! Cares for dog, puts it on leash from front porch. Decorating for seasons and messing in yard. Uses rolling walker inside and has one outside. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
