Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated CNA's and Home health Aids to join our team. As a CNA/HHA, you will provide essential care and support to clients in the home setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, ambulation and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Provide client care, based upon individualized plan of care
- Assist in providing a safe environment for clients
- Comply with all required documentation and record keeping
- Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
-Plan and prepare meals
- Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
Requirements
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, children, or seniors is preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current MD State CNA/GNA
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Government-issued picture ID
- CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
