About who needs care: Insulin-dependent diabetic. Fully independent prior to recent surgery. Still sharp mentally. She manages her own medications. Needs assistance getting cleaned up and dressed in morning. And assistance with in-home tasks. Would like to use her insurance for payment. She has Medicare, BCBS, and Fed Govt Long term Care. About the care needs: Would be great if aid had wound care experience since my mom is post-surgery (abdomen). A good listener. Patient. A woman. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
