We need hands-on care to take care of my 98-year-old mother in Gibson Island. This is a part-time night shift position. Days and times are negotiable, but approximately 3-5 days per week from approximately 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced caregiver willing to stay up with patient throughout the night as needed. They are expected to be in the same room as patient and caregiver is expected to be available to assist bedridden, mild- to moderate dementia patient with being comfortable, water/snacks, medication, and toilet needs. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets, as there is sometimes a therapy dog present. Caregiver must be able to work well with the care team that includes family members, live-in care provider, and team. Women candidates only please.
