Hands-on Care Needed For Older Couple In Gaithersburg

We are looking for a caregiver for our parents, both in their 80s. Our father is losing his eyesight and our mother is in the later mid stages of dementia. They still live alone, but need extra help. Duties include: help with hearing aids, wound care, protecting wound while showering, medication prompting, light housekeeping, running errands, staying active, meal preparation, and transportation. Bonus if you are tech-savvy! We're looking for someone to who is proactive, good at problem solving, and a strong communicator. You should have experience with dementia, and enjoy working with older adults and engaging them in conversation. We're looking for about 4 hours/day of help on Saturdays and Sundays, and, if you are available, early mornings on weekdays to help with showering. Hours could increase over time.
