About who needs care: She has Alzheimer's and I have two weddings to attend in the next two weeks, plus a 10 day trip Sept. 23- Oct. 3. I need someone to be "me" for Saturday, Sept 14 and Saturday, Sept. 21 in the evening and the following morning. She needs to be gotten out of bed, dressed, and taken downstairs to the kitchen for breakfast where her housemate will have made her breakfast. Then I need for someone to come back that evening, take her back upstairs, get her changed for bed and put to bed. This does include changing her "diaper". She is mobile, but unsteady and it takes time. I can give more details when speaking. About the care needs: Someone who is patient and also strong. Mom can currently walk, but is unsteady and needs a lot of help getting up and down the stairs. Someone who has an artistic side and could appreciate the artistry in her eclectic house would be terrific.
