About the job
Deborah is a 72 old woman who has Parkinson's disease. Deb recently fell and broke her wrist. While she is healing she needs additional care. We are looking for someone to help with meal preparations- usually heating up already cooked food/minimal cooking involved. Light hygiene- help change clothes in the morning or evening/maybe putting hair up/using wipes for under the arms. Daisy care(15lb cairn terrier mix)- taking her outside/feeding/brushing/loving on her! Light housecleaning-dishes/carrying objects. It would be great if you would read to her, or play a game, chat with her, and or even just sit outside. This position but not have an end date. Deb's family and treatment team think it might be best to continue the care even when the wrist is healed. More times and availability might become available as well.
