About who needs care: She is a Type 1 Diabetic who takes insulin and has high blood pressure. Sometimes needs assistance with walking using cane or walker. About the care needs: Looking for a female caregiver who enjoys old tv mystery shows and spirited conversation who will do light housekeeping, laundry and meal prep. Someone who is familiar with diabetes management (giving insulin, taking blood sugars when needed). Also someone who will encourage my mom to increase physical activity (walks around neighborhood or to the mailbox) Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
