About who needs care: My grandmother has dementia and just qualified for hospice care. She also can no longer walk. She can move her legs and her body, but she has lost the ability to walk. She wants to watch tv and be clean. We have a morning and evening nurse to bathe her and deal with her incontinence. About the care needs: My grandmother responds well to friendly people who are not aggressively friendly. She will make some small talk or talk family, tv, and politics, but she prefers to be left alone to watch tv. She likes board and card games, but doesn't engage with anyone to do so. She may on a rare moment play when suggested. She is able to move her body but tends to be dead weight when being handled by another person. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping,
