About who needs care: Mom is 92, She does have dementia and heart disease. She is pleasant and likes to knit and paint. She would benefit from some companionship and support with reminders to eat. To maintain her safety I will like to have someone with her when I go to work. I prepare her breakfast. She wakes up late so she just needs a snack for a late lunch snack. I prepare dinner when I return home for the day. There are pets in the home. About the care needs: Personally: calm, caring, extremely patient, attentive but not bossy, the ability to "go with the flow" is essential. No hoovering yet the ability to predict what might happen next. Very light housekeeping (dishes after a meal or a load of laundry if clothes get soiled). If you like to knit or paint or draw you might share common interests. Services needed include: companionship.
