About who needs care: frontal lobe dementia - has had for approx 8 years. He worked at General Motors and still thinks he works his shift there most days - loves cars and nascar, mowing the grass when he could, spending time in the sun, watching old shows. My grandma and uncle live with them, but with my grandmas health slowly declining and my uncle not being a helping hand, ideally we would like him to - wake up, bathe and eat. do some activity and if possible be taken out of the house to get some fresh air, relax and talk in the evenings. About the care needs: Honestly, someone very strong willed. He has an extremely strong heart and is rather stubborn, but my sweet and funny grandpa is still in there and he shines in moments throughout the day. He just loves cars and reliving the past. Someone whos open to having the same conversation 15 times in a row and give a laugh every time would make me feel like he's happy. Bathing has been hard for him as he thinks he just bathed every day. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
