About who needs care: 90-year-old Father is an at-home Hospice patient in the dying process along with 87-year-old spouse. Mother has memory issues but not dementia. Family members will be present 100% of the time. Seeking support for both parents. Mom loves reading and puzzles and needs meal prep. She needs encouragement and reminders but can do everything except cook. Father is 120 lbs and needs 2 person lift into chair and bed and wheelchair. Hospice home health aide spends 1 hour for three times a week on Father's ADLs. About the care needs: Help maintain quiet, clean and calm environment. Best to have GNA certification or experience with eldercare. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
