We are looking for a companion/ support person for my son who is 22 years old with moderate intellectual disability and autism. Ideal candidates will be good listeners, enjoy being active, and have some experience working with special needs adults. Experience working with people who have seizures is also ideal. My son is enjoys being outdoors, so candidates who enjoy hiking, walking, and running outdoors will be given preference. This position may require access to reliable transportation to support him in various community activities.
