About who needs care: My mom is 82 and a former : cultured, educated, outgoing, ambitious! She is aging now and needs some basic personal care, but importantly an articulate, engaging caretaker as a companion. Ideally a 2-hour block in the morning and the evening with the occasional outing. My preference is to hire someone with a full time salary (even though the hours will only be 4 or so per day) so that it is a single caregiver who has some flexibility outside those hours. About the care needs: Outgoing, engaging, intelligent, kind Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and bathing / dressing.
