About who needs care: My mom has ALS. She can walk with a walker. She has use of her arms and hands, but limited dexterity and strength. She would like someone to help with errands, cooking, and light housework. She would like someone to play scrabble with and to chat! It would be great to have someone come over twice a week in the afternoons. About the care needs: She would like someone in their 40s or 50s who is interested in talking to her and helping her out. She has a strong support network but would like some help during the day. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
