About who needs care: This is my father in law. He's 89. My wife is his primary caregiver and needs occasional breaks. He is pretty clear in his mind with minor memory issues. Sweet-tempered. Gets around in the house with some difficulty; can get out only with walker or scooter (Companion would not take him out. Indoors only.). Uses toilet, also wears diapers. Can't prepare his own meals or clean up after himself, but can feed himself. Can chat a bit, but likes to watch TV and fiddle with his tablet mainly. About the care needs: Denny is Jamaican. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
