We need someone to take care of my 86-y. o. mother for a few days while our normal caregiver is out of town: February 26, 7 AM, to February 28, 7 p.m. (2. 5 days) and March 10, 7AM, to March 11, 7 a.m. (one day) Mom is paralyzed on one side and needs help with all activities of daily living. She can walk a little bit and do her own transfers; she doesn't need to be lifted, but sometimes can use a little boost. She is cognitively aware and verbal and can tell you what she needs. We can pay $270 per day. A day is 24 hours, but she won't call you in the night, and there is a separate bedroom where you can sleep. Usually you are free from around 9:30 p.m. to around 6:30 a.m. (can vary a little bit depending on when the bedtime routine gets completed), but we do need you to remain on site just in case of emergency.
