About who needs care: Nancy loves to eat out at restaurants, though she has very little appetite anymore; watch sports on TV, and chat with anyone who will listen. Nancy has metastatic cancer on palliative chemotherapy. She has limited mobility and walks with a cane, but can struggle to stand from low-chairs and has suffered from frequent falls and cannot get up by herself. Nancy needs someone to check in on her and keep her company when her family is unable to be there. About the care needs: Nancy is very disorganized and has little motivation to do things around the house. She will need someone to help at least keep walkways clear for her. She may need help to stand from her chair or bed. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
