About who needs care: She has ALS and needs a lot of help throughout the day. Mostly getting ready in the morning and help showering and getting dressed. Also help with going to the bathroom throughout the day. She is mostly paralyzed but has a few thing she can still do for fun. About the care needs: Kind, punctual, caring, experience with Hoyer lift and transfers. Some cooking and cleaning. Help with bowel care and potentially catheters and feeding tube in the future. Ideally gets along with her and makes her laugh and smile. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
