About who needs care: My dad is a very intelligent, kind, funny man! He had a fall this winter that resulted in a back injury and subsequent back surgery. He was in an acute inpatient rehab and has recently transitioned home. He needs AM assistance with self-care tasks and very light mobility (about 10lbs of lifting for bed mobility only), prior to his outpatient therapy appointments M-F. About the care needs: My dad's caretaker should prioritize building rapport and maintaining safety. Dad is 100% cognitively with it, enjoys conversation and joking, and is great about directing his care and stating preferences Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
